Hope Housing Bridlington is creating a new post of Housing Support Officer, to work 15 hours per week at an annual salary of £8,526 (the full-time equivalent is £21,315). Working with a team of volunteers, and alongside the other Housing Support Officer who is already in post, the HSO will support vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness during their tenure in Hope Housing Bridlington property, helping them progress to full independence. The role has two main elements: housing management, and care, support and supervision.
We are looking for a capable, resilient and empathetic team-player, who has a passion to see people freed from homelessness and fulfilling their potential.
Hope Housing Bridlington was set up a year ago by the Anglican churches of the Bridlington area to tackle homelessness. We house people without discrimination or favour, while desiring that all have the opportunity to come to faith in Jesus Christ. There is a genuine occupational requirement under the terms of the Equality Act 2010 that the post-holder is a practising Christian.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday 16 October, and interviews will be held on Monday 2 November. Further details may be obtained from the Revd Richard Hare, tel 01262 229503, email email@example.com
