We are a small but very welcoming congregation in the Headland Benefice, and you are invited to join us for worship. Our services are 11am on the first, second and fourth Sundays in the month; on the first Sunday it is Holy Communion, and the second and fourth, Morning Worship. On the third Sunday we share a service with St Peter's, Reighton. We join the other churches of our Benefice on the fifth Sunday for a United Benefice service. Check our website for more details about the third and fifth Sundays.
Set in farmland, St Leonard's is one of the smallest church buildings in Yorkshire, and also one of the most peaceful. It was built in the early Norman period, probably on the site of an earlier Saxon church. St Leonard's has many interesting features, including a Saxon font. Visitors are welcome at any time during daylight hours and, after having looked in the church, there is ample opportunity for walking on the cliff path, or down to the shore.
